We call ourselves the "stamp sum smiles" gals and we have been meeting for two years, and We LOVE it!  We wanted to get into the habit of making cards, and proposed a swap at what we call "stamp camp".  Anyone who signed up would make a card for themselves plus however many more to cover the people who signed up.  12 of us met during the first few months and loved it.  We have all been swapping on and off for about a year now.  Every month we are so excited to share, and can't wait to see the treasures waiting for us.  We are all so much alike in the fact that we usually start out with "well...this didn't come out how I planned"  or "This isn't what I pictured it would be" or " I don't really like mine this time"  But we are our own worst critics!  Everyone always has wonderful things to say about each other's cards.  It always seems the one person who didn't like the way their card came out ends up having the groups favorite!  I love it when that happens!  The colors they choose, the layouts, the embellishments, these girls always blow me away!  It is so much fun to see all the ideas that come out of this talented group of ladies!  One of our friends in the group, Lori Stevenson is a Stampin' UP demonstrator, and she organizes this at her beautiful home. It has a wonderful pond view that gives all of us serenity and great inspiration.  She also plans projects for us to make in a walk from table to table-make it take it-style and we leave there with tons of goodies besides our swaps.
