August 2006 Featured Artist is Sandi Koster
My passion for stamping started shortly after retiring to Florida and
finding Claire's store; which is my favorite place to satisfy this
wonderful addiction. I've enjoyed six years of learning an art that
is never-ending-- there is always something new to discover and spark your
creativity. Happiness is hearing how much your handmade greeting
card has given joy and brought a smile to the face of a loved one.
From stamping, iris folding, tea bag folding, paper embroidery, making
pins and all the many aspects of this wonderful world of art I couldn't
say which is my favorite -- I love them all. My newest challenge is
to learn stamping and embossing on metal. At this point I guess you
could say, "to be continued."
