Like just about everyone else, a friend "infected" me with rubber stamping. You can always count on your friends! I must admit that the virus took a little time to work, as I was already passionate about the world of decorative painting, having painted in acrylics - on anything that didn't move. I didn't NEED another hobby. I've done them all, just like everyone else. Rubber stamping seemed to be something you could complete quickly and with just a few supplies. Well, I was wrong... and now every once-empty space in my craft room has "something to do with stamping." It's so bad that when people "visit" my craft room, their mouths drop open!!!! I'm a "whole hog or nothing" kind of gal!!! BUT stamping now shares equal footing, in my heart and my mind with painting, and I never thought that would happen. What started slowly is now a full blown virus! I can't get enough stamps, paper, doo dads, or books. (I bet this sounds very familiar!) I know I am not alone!!! Keep stamping out there and pass on the virus! |
