April 2005 Artist, Karen Arnau

 Hello!  My name is Karen Arnau and I live in Jacksonville, Florida (just a short ride from Claire's Collectibles.)

My introduction to stamping happened on a family vacation many, many years ago (back then all I stamped were the envelopes for my "store bought" cards.)

Fast forward twenty-plus years... I've gone from a small corner workspace in my home office - to a whole "play" room all my own!  Since I work during the day to support my "stamping habit," most of my creative time is in the late evening or the wee hours of the AM.

My latest project:  Post-It-Notes are not just for notes anymore - they make great centers for cards.  It's amazing all the shapes, prints, and colors they now come in.  Now, with the available selection of pre-cut mats and papers, (any size - no cutting), you can have a card made in just a few minutes (sound familiar?)

I still enjoy making the "in-depth" cards but those quick cards sure do come in handy.  I hope you enjoy my cards.
