Denise Henry started stamping 45 or so years ago before it became popular.  When she was a stay-at-home mom, she turned to various crafts to keep herself busy.  When her babies were small, she decided to make her own Christmas cards.  She went to the art store in Pittsburgh, PA, bought a linoleum block, a brayer, paints, glitter, tools to cut the block, and blank cards.  She found a picture she liked and traced it onto the block, cut it out and began making her cards in the evenings when the boys were asleep.  (She still remembers exactly what that first card looked like.)  Each Christmas since, she has made her cards and continues to today.  Now it is so much easier and more exciting with new materials and techniques.  She loves the creative process and with a vivid imagination, the sky is the limit!
